Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: May 2026, Required by FTC 16 CFR Part 255
Plain-language summary: Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. This is how we fund independent testing and keep the site running. It doesn't change our recommendations.
What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a tracked URL that lets a retailer or manufacturer know that a purchase was referred from UrbanGridBackup.com. When you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase within the retailer's cookie window (typically 24 hours for Amazon, 30 days for most others), UrbanGridBackup.com receives a small percentage of the sale as a referral commission.
The price you pay is identical to what you would pay visiting the retailer directly. Affiliate commissions come from the retailer's marketing budget, not from your purchase price.
Our Active Affiliate Relationships
As of the date above, UrbanGridBackup.com participates in the following affiliate programs:
- Amazon Associates Program, We earn from qualifying purchases on Amazon.com.
- EcoFlow Affiliate Program, Commission on direct purchases from EcoFlow's website via our links.
- Jackery Affiliate Program, Commission on direct purchases from Jackery's website.
- Bluetti Affiliate Program, Commission on direct purchases from Bluettipower.com.
- Anker / PowerHouse Affiliate Program, Commission on qualifying Anker purchases.

We update this list whenever we add or remove affiliate relationships. If you're unsure whether a link on this site is an affiliate link, assume that it's.
How Affiliate Relationships Affect Our Editorial Content
They don't, or at least, they're not supposed to, and we work hard to keep it that way. Here's how:
- We evaluate products based on independently verified technical specifications, hands-on testing results, and published user data, not on commission rates.
- We recommend products from brands regardless of whether we've an affiliate relationship with them. If the best option doesn't have an affiliate program, we still recommend it and link to it.
- We don't accept payment from manufacturers or retailers for favorable coverage, product placement, or rankings.
- Negative findings are published even when the product has a high commission rate.
- We disclose affiliate relationships at the top of every commercial page and article that contains affiliate links.
Sponsored Content
UrbanGridBackup.com doesn't currently publish sponsored posts, paid reviews, or advertiser-funded content. If this changes in the future, sponsored content will be clearly labeled with a "Sponsored" or "Paid Partnership" disclosure at the top of the page, distinct from standard affiliate disclosure.
FTC Compliance
This disclosure policy is maintained in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). If you've questions about our disclosure practices, contact us at hello@urbangridbackup.com.
